Sex positivity mainly refers to holding an affirmative and accepting attitude towards sexual experiences of individuals. Being able to provide a non-judgemental space towards open exploration without invalidating individual narratives related to one’s sexuality and sexual practices unique to them. Emphasising an understanding of inclusion and diversity towards individual identities.

Being an ally refers to holding a queer affirmative stance that is rooted in educating oneself on the unique life stressors of the sexual minorities. Moving beyond the heteronormative systems to advocate the rights of the community. Developing an empathetic and non-judgement acceptance of individuals identifying as queer.

Trauma work is not a linear process with a unidimensional impact. It involves working with the client’s unique narrative and experiences and exploring the implications of their trauma. Therefore, the outcome would be different based on the differing needs and challenges of the client whether it may be just to provide a safe space to process their traumatic emotions to help them to working on helping them overcome the roadblocks experienced by them.

My style of therapy is conversational and explorative. I attempt to facilitate a discussion that would allow my clients to get some direction or structure out of their concerns faced. I hold a strength-based stance that focuses on affirming and supporting minorities in their life challenges. The therapy sessions are focused on understanding the unique life stressors of the client by exploring the intersectional and psychosocial context of their narratives. My clinical background helps me address the diagnosable mental health concerns of my clients. At the same time, my practice is rooted in exploring the client's identity beyond their diagnosis, thus emphasising their holistic wellbeing beyond their diagnostic labels. I believe that it is my responsibility to cater to the unique needs of my clients and be inclusive in my practice.
