My definition of being a 'sex-positive' person means to be someone who is open-minded about understanding the context of any two or more consensual adults engaging in sexual activity, that might not be conventionally acceptable to 'heteronormative couple-centric' ideologies of society.

To be an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community means to be someone who is willing to stand up for the rights of the community in front of the world-at-large and try and support the community, in whatever capacity possible, throughout their struggles; celebrate their wins and most importantly, celebrate their existence.

The usual outcomes of trauma therapy for survivors encompass several visible changes as the invisible psychological wounds from the past heal. This can be seen in clients as enhanced 'psychological flexibility' enabling them to unhook from flashbacks of difficult memories from the past, unhook from intrusive and repetitive difficult thoughts and feelings and practice mindfulness and gentle self-compassion. Recovered clients are able to live their values effectively in different aspects of their lives. As much as there is the usual focus on 'post-traumatic stress management,' I love to help my clients work more towards 'post- traumatic growth' (growth as per the client's definition).

Non-judgemental, safe and structured conversations with layers of vulnerability unfolding over time. Practising experiential and reflective exercises that helps clients build skills of diffusion from difficult thoughts, feelings and emotions especially those originating from traumatic experiences of the past. Tons of focus on building self-acceptance and practising self-compassion skills.
