Actively supporting and advocating for the rights, equality, and well-being of members of the LGBTQ+ community. An ally often engages in education, awareness, advocacy, respect, listening, learning, and being supportive towards the community. Being an ally is an ongoing commitment to promoting equality, understanding, and inclusivity for the LGBTQIA+ community. It requires working towards creating a world where everyone can live authentically and without discrimination.

Thirdly, their self esteem and self worth should improve.
