Courses and Workshops at Higher Education Institutions

At TCR, we recognise the critical importance of Gender Mainstreaming in higher education and offer customised courses, workshops, talks, and internships tailored to meet the unique needs of university students. Our team of experts in gender studies and education has meticulously developed programmes aimed at equipping students with essential skills for equitable policy-making and trauma-informed advocacy in both academic and industry settings.

We recently developed and taught ‘Integrating Gender Sensitisation into Human Resource Management,‘ a 30-hour intensive Value-Added Course (VAC) aligned with the National Education Policy (2020). In collaboration with SVKM’s Usha Pravin College, Mumbai, we introduced this certificate course to their students.

Our past programme offerings have included:

  1. Introduction to Restorative Justice: A 6-week training circle designed to familiarise participants with restorative justice principles and practices.
  2. Addressing Sexual Violence on College Campuses: A 6-part lecture series that explores various aspects of gender-based violence (GBV) within college environments.
  3. ICC Student Representatives Training: An 8-module virtual course aimed at training ICC student representatives in peer advocacy, trauma coping strategies, and policy framework enhancement.
