Who we are
The Centre for Restoration (TCR) aims to create empathetic student communities across India where trauma-informed, representative and affordable social support against sexual misconduct of any kind is always available.
TCR was founded by a student-alumni collective of Ashoka University. TCR now operates beyond the campus of Ashoka, to keep asking how we as a community must hold ourselves accountable for our culture of sexual misconduct.

This may also include entities directly involved in TCR’s activities such as donors, partners and consultants.

- Our Operations – Includes TCR’s on ground and online work such as capacity building, events, talks, programme engagements, fellowships, exhibitions, contests and direct outreach.

This website does not use any cookies and hence, we do not collect any consent for cookies either.
Forms
When visitors submit any form on the site we collect only the data shown in that form. We do not log the respondents IP address or any other identifying data that has not been voluntarily provided. We do not share any Personal Identifiable Information with third parties. We might analyse the anonymised data in the aggregate and use this information to improve our website and operations. We do not use recaptcha or any other third party spam detection anywhere else on our website.
Media
If you upload images or documents to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Any documents or images uploaded will be accessible with a public URL so any confidential or private documents/images must be shared via email to TCR.

We may share anonymised and aggregated data with immediate third parties to be analysed or used to facilitate or improve our operations and the functioning of this website. If you choose to donate to us through Razorpay or any other payment gateway, your details will be shared with the respective payment gateway.
How long we retain your data
Information submitted through the contact form are stored for a minimum period of 3 years or longer in compliance with legal requirements of the respective jurisdictions.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
If you have reason to believe that any information pertaining to underage individuals has been provided to us without the consent of the guardian/parent, you may reach out to us to have this information deleted as well.
