  • Owning and embracing one's sexual identity, sexual needs, and self pleasure, regardless of one's gender or sexual orientation. Sex and pleasure are basic needs and they should not be treated like a privilege which is only reserved for a few. Provided all parties involved are respecting of others needs and boundaries, and consent is involved. I aim to create a space with my clients where they feel safe to talk about all their concerns, needs and ideas about sex without experiencing any shame or embarrassment, just like they would talk about any other aspect of their life.

  • Every individual should have the agency to live their life on their own terms and to own and embrace their identities fully and completely. It is extremely sad to see that people from the LGBTQIA+ community have to fight so hard on a daily basis just to be accepted for their identity, self expression, and sometimes even their "being." As an ally, I believe that it is my duty and responsibility to help people from the community fight this battle for their acceptance at a social level and to help make this world a safer space for them in every way possible. Also, help people from the community own and accept their identities in a way that feels authentic to them.

  • To start with, trauma does not refer to the traumatic incident that happened to a person but it is the change that occurred INSIDE a person as a result of what happened to them. Whenever a person goes through trauma in their life, there can be a further disconnect that they experience from their actual "self." The essence of trauma therapy, in my work and personal experience, lies in helping people connect to their authentic self, while peeling through the different protective layers that got formed around the self in the past—which might not be helping the client in the present. As we peel through these layers, the client is slowly able to understand, listen to, and express themselves and their parts better. They are also able to navigate through their daily life in a way that feels safe and meaningful to them.

  • A typical session with me involves a lot of self acceptance and self love, even when it can be difficult to make yourself feel loved. I will try to meet you wherever you are in your journey towards self improvement. I help you learn how to listen to your body better and how to understand what it is trying to communicate with you as you are trying to share or process something in this space. I also help you dissect that internal debate or dilemma that you might be facing by identifying the different "parts" that are participating in that debate, and understanding what each part might be needing in that moment. I believe that you have the potential to create a life for yourself that feels in alignment with your goals and needs, and in the process of reaching those goals, I will also help you take care of and manage your parts that might not feel ready for the same yet.
