  • It means the relationship with our physical and emotional intimacy. This aspect of the self is significant in all relationships, be it with ourselves and/or others. The discovery and awareness about one's pleasure can be empowering and healthy for a meaningful life and relationships. Sex positivity is about accepting our sexual nature without judgment, guilt and shame.

  • It means that I am not supporting the violence of heteronormative structures, systems and principles. It means that I am deciding to reflect upon myself on how I might be contributing to and stopping the violence. Ally-ship means sharing the joys and sorrows of one's sexuality in the cultural struggle.

  • It would look like a reduction in the overwhelming sensations, which paralyses the functioning to the level of no return. It would look like a relationship with the body which feels comforting and nurturing, a mind which is not against us and feelings which introduce comfort.

  • A typical psychodynamic session feels like a space to create for oneself, which is ever-changing based on what a part of us wants and a part of us wants to get rid of, a part which needs to be understood and a part which can never be understood.
