It means the relationship with our physical and emotional intimacy. This aspect of the self is significant in all relationships, be it with ourselves and/or others. The discovery and awareness about one's pleasure can be empowering and healthy for a meaningful life and relationships. Sex positivity is about accepting our sexual nature without judgment, guilt and shame.

It means that I am not supporting the violence of heteronormative structures, systems and principles. It means that I am deciding to reflect upon myself on how I might be contributing to and stopping the violence. Ally-ship means sharing the joys and sorrows of one's sexuality in the cultural struggle.
