  • People should be able to explore and learn about their gender and sexuality in a non judgemental manner.

  • Believing their experiences and creating awareness about the same. Standing upto any homophobic comments or discrimination based on gender and sexuality.

  • The outcome can be different for different individuals. Trauma generally affects the day to day functioning of the person. So one of the 1st things to work on would be to see if we can minimise the amount of disturbance in day to day life. Once that is done we can work on integrating the sense of self.

  • I use a client centred approach meaning I let the client decide how they would want to move forward. We set up a few goals that the client would want to work on and overtime check how much progress has been made.
