  • Sex positivity means having a healthy and non-judgmental attitude towards sex and sexuality. It signifies the importance of consent, pleasure, and open communication in sexual relationships. Sex positivity helps individuals to embrace their own desires, preferences, and identities without shame or guilt. It also advocates for comprehensive sex education, destigmatisation of diverse sexual practices, and the recognition of sexual rights for all individuals.

  • An ally is someone who supports and advocates for the rights and well-being of individuals LGBTQIA+ community. Allies strive to create inclusive and affirming environments, challenge discrimination and prejudice, and educate themselves and others about LGBTQIA+ issues. They may actively participate in LGBTQIA+ events, organisations, and initiatives. Also, I think as allies being with them, listening, believing, and validating their experiences is the way to move ahead together as a society with equality, justice, and dignity for all.

  • The outcome of trauma therapy can vary among individuals. One may expect:
    1. Reduction of symptoms: Trauma therapy helps to alleviate the distressing symptoms that often accompany trauma, such as flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, and depression.
    2. Increased emotional regulation: Trauma therapy can help individuals regulate their emotions effectively, and build healthier coping mechanisms.
    3. Healing from the past: Trauma therapy provides a safe space to individuals where they can explore & process emotions (due to past trauma like shame, disgust, anger, and self-doubt). This helps in increasing self-awareness and acceptance. Thereby working on living a meaningful and fulfilling life.
