  • I do believe that our sexuality is our own to explore. Conversations are really important for improving sexual health, and for that reason I create a very safe and nurturing environment to talk about whatever thoughts, emotions or insecurities one may have regarding the same. It's important to make informed and clear decisions and I do my best to spread awareness and help individuals find their own ways of expression with comfort.

  • In my opinion, being an ally is an ongoing process which requires being committed to inclusivity. I create a safe and affirming space for clients of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, fostering an atmosphere where they feel understood, accepted, and respected. I understand that LGBTQIA+ identities intersect with other aspects of a person's life, such as religion, and socio-economic status, and approach therapy with cultural sensitivity and awareness. I like to be a very supportive and non judgmental presence whilst helping an individual in their journey of self discovery and acceptance.

  • In an ideal world, therapy would erase trauma completely. Since, we cannot erase or undo a traumatic past, I do work extensively on helping change the relationship one holds with it and the one that it holds with us. My focus is on identifying how different parts of one's mind carries and views trauma and its consequential burdens and helping these parts release whatever is required to move in life with strength and empowerment. My work focuses on building acceptance and harnessing the resilience we carry within.

  • Based on the feedback that I get, I'm told that I have a very calming presence and clients feel comfortable opening up to me. You will find me to be very empathetic, supportive and nurturing. I use a blend of neuro-scientific theories and everyday life stories to give insight and my clients find them to be very helpful and easy to apply even much later on in life. We even create code words for different mental health struggles to talk about difficult emotions making it much easier to release from within.
