  • It is the belief that sexuality is a natural and healthy part of human life and should be explored and enjoyed in a consensual and safe manner. Towards which we must respect and support sexual choices, desires, and identities instead of guilting and shaming self or others for the same.

  • I have seen my journey from intellectual to emotional acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ community once I truly began to empathise. This was possible by being constantly in touch with their lived reality through reading/hearing their narratives for what they are! Adopting inclusive and gender- neutral language; Collecting and sharing resources in order to support their empowerment etc are some of the micro and macro ways in which I advocate for their needs and rights.

  • Most importantly a sense of safety in order to allow self and parts of self to come back to the present and regain touch with reality. Having enough resources and courage to create and share a new relationship with self and reality. Being able to feel a shift from seeing self as victim to also a survivor!

  • Therapy processes are subjective and experiential, I would not like to define it. I like to keep my sessions semi-structured to make space for clients to receive a glimpse of themselves again in the form of hope, safe space for vulnerable parts, reconnect to their strengths, values and needs, and an allowance to just be for once. My hope for the clients is that they can "Re-define, Re-instate and Re-claim" their relationship with their Self, Others and the world at large.
