Sex positivity for me focuses on: respecting different relationship structures, supporting sex education and psycho-education people on the same. Any and all kind of sex is pleasurable, honouring ones body; viewing sexuality as healthy and affirmative. One must never feel entitled to sex, it is always a choice and never a compulsion—respect boundaries and consent before, during and after engaging in a sexual activity.

I believe in creating a narrative that the person is not the problem. While working with queer and trans people, I aim to create a space of acceptance, visibility, and hope. My practice is rooted in learning through the course of exploration and providing the client with the required information and reading material that would aid their journey in safe and learned space.
I work with a vision of taking a step back from the heteronormative patterns and beliefs of the charmed circle, by making connections between the interpersonal distress and the social contexts.

Each journey and experience is unique. The outcome of trauma therapy should focus on meeting the three levels of trauma therapy: safety and stabilisation, regulation, and integration.

It can be challenging for the client to show up as their honest and vulnerable selves given that this journey comes in with its sense of overwhelm and scepticism. I would hope for the client to take back the feeling of being heard and supported. The first session with me is focused on creating a safe and open-ended space to learn more about the client's journey incorporating elements of expressive arts.
